Born from my own journey as a homeschool mom of five, this space exists to encourage and equip families walking the same path.
My mission is to share faith-filled inspiration, practical resources, and gentle reminders that grace is enough — and that wonder can be found everywhere.
Rooted in Our Story
Hi, I’m Tanya — a homeschool mom of five. My children range in ages from a college student to a new baby. I’ve got my hand in many stages at once! Our homeschool journey began over a decade ago, after pulling my oldest two children from the public school system, and has grown through countless seasons of grace, growth, and laughter.
We’ve embraced a faith-based, eclectic approach that blends unschooling freedom with gentle structure — learning through nature, creativity, and curiosity. Some days we’re knee-deep in STEM projects or art, other days we’re reading in a tent in our backyard. Every moment, we’re learning together.
Why I Started Rooted in Grace & Wonder
Rooted in Grace & Wonder grew out of my desire to encourage other families who want to nurture faith and curiosity in their homeschool. Here, you’ll find resources, printables, and creative ideas that make home education feel joyful and intentional — even in the messy, ordinary days.
My hope is that you’ll leave this space feeling refreshed and reminded that learning and faith can bloom beautifully together.
